Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington Mama and Baby Grizzly Signed Bronze Sculpture

A patinated bronze sculpture titled “Mama and Baby Grizzly” by Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington.

The bronze bears an incised signature “Anna V. Hyatt-H.” to the oval terrace and is mounted on a green marble base with artist plaque reading “Mama and Baby Grizzly by Hyatt.”

This cabinet-scale composition captures a playful and tender moment between mother and cub, with the cub climbing across the mother’s back. The modelling is richly detailed, particularly in the fur texture, and the composition has excellent movement and presence despite its intimate scale.

A comparable example of this model sold at auction in 2023 for $2,100 USD hammer, supporting documented market demand for this work.
